Once reservations are accepted and agreed with ABC Hostel (the hostel) there will be terms and conditions, as follows:

• Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of and/or amendments to your reservation must be made 72 hours prior to your arrival date.  
Cancellation or amendment made within 72 hours of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of first night’s charge.  
In the event of no-show, a fee of the entire booking will be charged to your credit card provided at the time of reservation.

• Check-In and Check-Out Time 

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is by 11:00 am. 

If you wish to check-in early, an additional fee of SGD10/person or SGD20/Room for checking-in between 7am and 3pm, and an additional fee equal to the full room rate if checking in before 7am, subject to availability.

If you wish to extend the check-out time, you are required to inform the reception before 11am, an additional fee equal to 50% of your room rate will be charged for extensions until 6pm, and an additional fee equal to the full room rate for checking-out after 6pm, subject to availability.
Guests must provide a valid government issued identification or passport during check-in.  

• Eligible Age for Check-In

You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room.

Only 5-year-old and above is allowed to stay in the dormitory, otherwise for age below 5 years of age have to be accompanied by an adult and only eligible for private room. 

• General Provisions 

By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Hostel, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hostel’s standard terms and conditions of stay.  
The Hostel shall not bear any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Hostel.  
Guest shall indemnify and hold the Hostel harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation by the Hostel.

• Hostel Rules

To make the Hostel a better place to live, the Hostel prioritises the guest’s comfort, safety and security. Hence, any guest(s) who, in the opinion of the Hostel management team, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staffs or local residents will be asked to leave the hostel premises and will not be given their refund.
Room key cards will be provided for guest. In the event that a guest loses the room key card, there will be a fee of SGD$10 for a replacement. 
The hostel reserves the right to evict any additional occupants in the room.  
No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed. 
No smoking is permitted anywhere in ABC Hostel. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area outside of ABC Hostel. Any guest found smoking in the building, and outside of the designated areas, will be asked to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be granted for the guest.

• Payment

The hostel accepts Cash and Visa/Mastercard only. (5% surcharge applies for Visa/Mastercard)

• Personal Property

ABC Hostel accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests’ property,
It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. however sustained or caused. 

• Rates and Deposit

The rates quoted will be charged accordingly on your period of stay, there should be no erratic changes. However, there will be a difference in walk-in and online rates.  
In an event that a booking rate has been incorrectly posted, the Hostel reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion, and the guest will be notified.    
Rates are all quoted in Singapore Dollars.
Extra guest will have to pay an additional fee, please check with the Hostel’s front desk about extra fee.  
A cash deposit of SGD 20 is required upon check-in for incidentals in addition to full payment of room and tax.
